How to Measure

To ensure the perfect fit for your flat leather martingale collar, please measure your dog carefully before ordering.

1. Measure your dog’s neck:
   Use a soft measuring tape to find the circumference of your dog’s neck where the collar will sit (usually mid-neck, not at the base).

2. Measure your dog’s head (widest point):
   Wrap the tape around the widest part of your dog’s head—just in front of the ears. This ensures the collar can comfortably slip over the head.

3. Choose the right size:

   • The collar should be large enough to slip over your dog’s head,

   • and small enough that it won’t slide off when gently tightened.

If your dog’s measurements fall between two sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort.

💡 Tip: A properly fitted martingale collar will rest comfortably on your dog’s neck when relaxed and tighten just enough to prevent slipping when tension is applied.
